Firstly, a late Happy New Year! I had meant to update much much earlier, but have been caught up with other game projects these holidays. If you're up for playing some non-sims games, try Warthogs, something of a joke with some tricky puzzles. For something even weirder, try Infinite Monkeys. Ok, ok, I'll stop plugging non-sims games :P. This is what is included in this sims update:
- Double bed - yes, finally, I made a double bed. It took ages just cutting up the shape of the bed. Anyway, it's pink, and quite luxurious (in my opinion ;-))
- Black, red and gold column - saw a similar column in a picture of HBO's Rome.
- Red end table, design from Brutus' tablinum in HBO Rome.
- My first attempt at a mesh. I tweaked the B333_long mesh so that the waistline is much higher and body is straighter. And some sleeves too. I know the difference may not look like much to you, but Roman costume wasn't so body-hugging, like the other mesh was. And now Milkshape has expired (didn't get time to do more with exams)... unless someone wants to buy it for me ;-), kidding, kidding.
- Arch fresco - three part mural
- Brown Red Fresco, single tile
- Two marbled brown tiles, to alternate between

I'm sorry for not posting anything for so long :( When one takes on too many hobbies, they tend not to have as much time :P. Not that I've lost interest in Roman sims, just that it's not a high priority most of the time because of uni, and a cool but not-very-helpful demonstrator for chem prac. Anyway, some of these are updated objects, and a few new things as well:

Methinks it's about time for an update. :-) I've been busy... and exams are coming up soon, but after June I'll have a break. By the way, A Tale of Two Kingdoms is still holding auditions for character voices, so hop over and audition at our forum, if you have a microphone... I dare you! :P
- Two couches
, one green, one white.
- A brass vase
- Three girl skins
- white, green on white, and purple on yellow.
- Two lots
, - a smaller villa for lot 79, and a huge palace for lot 2. These were made a while back, but I updated some of the furnishings so that there is a tad more variety. Furnishing did make me realise there's never enough downloads though :(
Just as a note... I noticed a couple of links incorrectly typed in the HTML. If you notice any other broken links, let me know please so I can fix them :-)
Enjoy!
15.03.2006
Well, there is a reason why I haven't been simming much... I've been working on graphics for another computer game :P - A Tale of Two Kingdoms. We are nearly finished, and once the game is completed I should be back to simming.
"The ancient kingdom of Theylinn is beset by enemies both from within and without. Within the castle walls, nobles vie for the old King's favor, and not everybody is happy with the sole heir to the throne, princess Rhiannon.
Meanwhile, danger approaches, in the form of an invading army, a hostile giant, and a mercenary troop who are ancient enemies of the Theylann king.
And there is mystery yet. For hidden within the borders of Theylinn lies a second kingdom, named Thierna na Oge, where the faeries reign. Little is known about this shrouded, exotic realm."
We also released a trailer yesterday - check it out at http://www.atotk.homecall.co.uk/ATOTKtrailer.WMV (14Mb)... please :)
Also, we are looking for voice actors. If you want to be in the game (or your voice, rather), please go to our forum ... and let us know what you think there anyway.
Thanks!

Happy New Year everyone!
Well, since I mentioned that I wanted to redo the site design last time... I did! I think it looks better, but that could be my own (biased) opinion. It is slightly more flashier, with frames, and a bit of Javascript and CSS for image rollovers *grins*. I had been wanting to try making something that looked a bit richer, and well, here it is. If you're crazy and use Internet Explorer (like me), and it comes up with something about protecting your security, you can either allow it or block it (If you block it you won't see the rollovers). Oh... I made this with IE, so some Javascript code mightn't work in Firefox, but I think I've gotten the mouseover images aligned properly for both browsers.
Note: Some of the links in the previous news section may not work, or may link to the old site design.
Anyways, enough rambling :P:
Enjoy!

It's been a few months. No real reason for the lack of updates except real life (which is a reason all on its own :P), and the fact that I'm busy with other game-related projects. I'm on holidays now though - and once those other adventure games are done I'll hopefully update a bit more frequently. I plan on redoing the website design, so that everything is organised better too. But one day, one day...and talking doesn't actually get us anywhere, eh? :-)

Some more downloads :-)
- Blacksmith set, simmimizing some of the objects in one of the pictures I painted for A Tale of Two Kingdoms - an adventure game that will be released either this year or next.
The objects include an anvil (one cloned from Strength-O-Meter), bellows, bucket, stove, whetstone grinder, coal pile.
- Flower and herb stand, to buy roses downtown/old town.
- Two walls, one first style, the other second style.
- Also, RuthML kindly sent me her Romanised neighbourhood screen, with arches, trees and all! Download it at the E-group
01.07.2005
... And finally made some objects! This is what today's update includes:
- Three wooden couches, recolours of Christy's gorgeous couch at Roman sims, in purple, green and red
- Marble desk, with black marble top, carved sphinxes, and pink marble base
- Meat stall (cloned from hot dog cart), with replaced NPCs (requires Hot Date).
- Cushion stall, cloned from the swimwear rack (Hot Date required)
- Toy chariot, cloned from a vase
- Marble counter, with black marble top and solid beige base.
I might try and make some more walls next time... but no promises ;-)

So... it's been months since I updated my site, even though I did e-group updates. I had problems with the last web host, so I've moved again. The site address is still the same: http://www.aurisacrafames.vze.com
If you aren't a member of my e-groups, you probably wouldn't know my last updates: They were mainly skins for men and women.
I am busy making some objects at the moment, but will need to reinstall The Sims first before I can test them in game.

Please support the tsunami victims in Asia by making a donation to any charity which will send relief to those countries in need. These people need our help; over 70 000 have died in Indonesia, Sri Lanka, India as well as several islands and other countries, and millions have been left homeless with no fresh water, food, shelter or clothing. Your donation, no matter how big or small, can make a difference.

Long time since I've updated. I've *finally* finished school! Anyway, I have an objects update for you all today :-)
I figure that that's enough objects for now, to keep you occupied for a few minutes ;-) All these objects can also be found at this e-group.
02.11.04
And I have my site back online! Hopefully this host is more reliable ;-), but *sigh* there are still pop-up ads. Please remember that this site is still file-share-friendly, and to share files to keep this site up :-) I have also gotten a short url, so bookmark http://www.aurisacrafames.vze.com to find my site even when I change hosts :-)
21.04.04
Not an update... I just decided to put this news here for anyone that might be interested in participating... I've opened a new site - Lapsus Calumni. It's not for sim downloads, but for ancient oriented sim stories. At the moment, there's a small contest for writing a historical based fictional story. There's thank you gifts too for anyone that contributes :-). If no one is interested however :(
13.04.04
Not much of an update... only one real original object. I really would like to make more objects, but as I don't really have a computer with The Sims installed on to test it, it's a bit difficult to do :P. Anyway, this is what is included in this update:
Other things to let you know about :-): I have a new affilate! Eric, of Quayside Imports creates the best 3D objects. You have to go to his site!
Also... Juniper Sun's Bus Tour for the month is Italy... Go check it out!
20.03.04
I was going to update on the 23rd, but I'll be busy then, so I updated today ;-) Auri Sacra Fames turns one year old on the 23rd, and I felt like celebrating hehe. :D
I may make more stuff after a couple of weeks from now, as that's when I have holidays... we'll see :-)
1.02.04
Schools starts on Tuesday again, so I thought I'd put up the rest of my completed downloads. Note, school starts again, and since this is my final year at school, I will be focusing more on schoolwork than Sims, so do not expect many updates, if any.
- Two phones - one a lararium, one a lares statue.
- An entrance mosaic of a dog, cloned from a rug.
- A pink triclinium dining couch.
- Vegetable stall... I couldn't change the NPC, but this one works at least.
- Two houses - one based on the House of Julia Felix, and the other on Emperor Tiberius' Villa Jovis.
- A female skin of a vestal virgin. The mesh was made by the wonderful Mik, so you'll need to download that mesh as well.
I would prefer if you downloaded it all from the E-Group. :-)
20.01.04
Three objects today. I think I need to stop making objects... Ok, I will, the week before school starts again... definitely! That's just a warning to let you know I'm planning not to update during year 12 :P Anyway, I made a basket of veggies, some clay amphorae, and a creamy apricot peach bed with a brown cushion, which you can get from the E-Group for now. I do plan on moving site once Maxis offers that free hosting... that means I won't have anymore bandwidth troubles... hopefully that'll happen soon :-)
15.01.04
Since a lot of people seemed to like the bed, I made a recolour ;-) - in pink, with the same green cushion and white blankets. (Pink and green compliment each other nicely :-)). I also made an amphorae shelf, cloned from a fire alarm to protect your Roman sims from dying. Both objects are E-Group only downloads, because my host changed the bandwidth limit to daily doses of 100mbs, and most people seem to be unable to download from here directly (Okay, own up - who's been downloading my whole site? ;-))
12.01.04
Several more objects today, well, several for me at least! :P I made a Roman bed which I'm quite happy with in my opinion, but that's because I drew it all up on the computer from scratch without any 3D programs and such (which gets very tedious ;-)). I also made a chair for the tablinum, and an object set - a bath house type set, which will be expanded on when I feel like it :-). So far there's only three objects plus a floor tile, but I like the marble texture ;-). And while I'm about it, I updated the marble hot tub so that it functions correctly now, so you may want to redownload it.
02.01.04
Happy New Year! Ok, I'm a day late... but my bandwidth only reset at the end of yesterday :P. Anyways... to start off this new year, I made some downloads for you ;-)... A market object, a seed tray to be exact. There is also a preview of a veggie cart that I can't get to work (it has the same problem as the marble hot tub I made). I also made two street exterior walls, for insulae and tabernae, and a stove, for cooking. And I finally got up another lot of heads... so now the male heads are up from my old site. I don't think any are new, but I can't remember :P.
19.12.03 - Request
If this isn't too much bother, could you please download the files from this e-group, as I am nearly out of bandwidth... or at least wait until next month (next year) before downloading. This site is also file-share friendly so you could share the files with someone else via e-mail or other. Thanks :).
14.12.03
School holidays now... I'm going to get bored and miss school :P. Anyway, have some garden objects for you... a Peristylium Garden Pack, and an indoor fern plant. I'm not exactly sure what plant it is, so I'm just going to call it a palm fern :P.
5.12.03
Well, it's December 5th like I said ;-). And yep, I do have some downloads... I have 2 female skins, one based on the original design by Rollo. I also made two ornate couches for the atrium, same design, but different colours. And last but not least, Jotapomba's bath house, the winning entry to the Roman Sims Building Contest.
15.11.03
Well, I won't be updating until after December 5th because I will be having exams soon again... So I thought I'd upload what I have made... Firstly, a wooden wash basin cloned from a sink (so it has to sit on a counter), and a green marble column, originally from Superstar, and cloned from Aurelia's column (as I don't have Superstar)
3.11.03
A couple more downloads... A plebeian couch, and two walls, one for the E-group. And the contest closed two days ago... however, if there's any chance you have a late entry, you can e-mail it to me :-).
25.10.03
Well, it's nearly been a month without updates... :P. I've been busy with school activities. Music, music... and more music. And maths too ;-). Anyway, I have one object for you... a plant. A fern to be precise :-). Oh, and I got one entry for the Roman Sims Building Contest. Don't forget... the contest closes on 1st November... in one week!
30.9.03
This will probably be the last update in a while (two weeks, possibly more), as I have an important violin assessment (exam) coming up, and school is also going to be back soon... next Monday. So I don't intend to make anything anytime soon :P.
Anyway, I made a marble hot tub, base from Superstar, but can be used without it (as I don't have Superstar). There is one problem with it though... the sims with not get in it... they walk up to it, but don't get in like they're supposed to. I don't know fully what causes this problem, so I can't really fix it. If someone wants to fix it for me, they're most welcome ;-).
I also put up the pilum target for your legionnaires (if you keep them). They can't actually use it though :P I also put up the female section of the heads. The other heads will come later when I feel like it ;-).
27.9.03
It's about time I finished off some of my older imcomplete objects ;-)... so I completed a three-legged gold chair, part of the Osseus Set.
24.9.03
You may be wondering why my updates are less frequent these holidays... even though I'm on holidays. Well, I have been making objects :P... for the Roman Sims Building Contest... there are plenty of prizes, and you will get at least something if you participate ;-)... so start building! Anyway, I made a wicker basket of oranges... or else you can download it from my other e-group to save on bandwidth... not much, but makes a kitchen/marketplace look more real ;-).
16.9.03
New site design and new URL! Please update your bookmarks (if you bookmarked me that is). How do you like it? Personally, I think it looks quite nice. You may notice some differences to the way things are organised... There is a new link at the bottom called 'Site Files'. This contains a copy of all my files on a Yahoo group, to help save bandwidth or if anyone has trouble downloading from this site. Please be nice and download from there instead of here. :-)
Anyways... I have a few new goodies for you ;-) Some purple triclinium couches, a stove, a toilet bucket, a round fountain and an addition to the columns on pedestals, another Florentine relief... There's also two new wall frescos, a yellow one and a red one. A sky-blue skin for a light-skinned girl, a marble floor pack, and... three more buildings. I believe I have listed everything ;-)
Have you heard of the Roman Sims Building Contest? Some members of the Roman Sims Forum are organising it (including me). We'd love to have plenty of entries! Participants get a wall fresco as an incentive to participate. Winners also get prizes too, but I still need to make some things. If you have any questions regarding the contest, e-mail me, or post at the Roman Sims Forum.
