Blue/Orange Chair
A lovely patterned blue and oranged striped chair with thin brass legs and animal feet. The legs cross each other, and are attached to a wooden frame which supports the cover of the chair, which is made of dyed spun wool.

Marble Desk with Brass Legs
A pretty heavy piece of furniture, this desk made of pale marble and sits on three solid brass legs, each one carved delicately with grooves to create a stunning effect. Each leg ends with an animal foot, something typical of ancient Greek furniture. Only an extremely rich person would be able to afford a table made of materials such as this due to the fact that there were not many natural resources in Greece - most of its terrain is mountainous, and so the Greeks lived around the coast.

Gold Greek Striped Stool
A beautifully carved golden-legged stool, with a striped cloth draped over the frame of the chair, in pale conservative colours. The legs cross each other, and again finish with animal legs, which is again very common in classical furniture. This particular stool has gold tassles on each corner of the chair.

Mixed Pottery
Four pieces of Greek pottery... we can't have a Greek home without pottery now can we? ;-) Anyway, from left to right, a jar, a kylix (shallow wine cup), an alabastron (perfume jar) and a corinthian lamp. Yes, these objects were made from pictures... I do that when I can't be bothered drawing from scratch :P.

Bust of Socrates
A stone bust of Socrates the philosopher, standing on a stone pedestal. Socrates was famous for his ideas, and was to be executed for questioning the government. However, instead he took a dose of hemlock (poison). The front and back view don't really match up lol, and strangely enough, the back view is a more accurate portrayal of the face of Socrates ;-)
